The studies are led by researchers from our ACES team and are conducted in the Amsterdam UMC location AMC. If you would like more information or an assessment of your hamstring injury, you can contact one of the researcher via email. They will then contact you as soon as possible.
Hamstring research
Hamstring injuries are common among both recreational and professional athletes. Over the past decades, much research has been conducted to help athletes return to sport quickly and safely. However, many questions remain unanswered. We focus our research on improving diagnostics, prevention and treatment of hamstring injuries.
Since 2010, we have been conducting research on hamstring injuries. There are already many amateur and professional athletes with hamstring injuries participating in one of our studies.
